AbstractAcute airway obstruction after endotracheal intubation is uncommon. Treatment focuses on protecting the patient's airway and preventing long-term complication of tracheal stenosis. This article describes the successful treatment of a patient with acute subglottic stenosis via mechanical debridement of granulation tissue.
