AbstractThe survey of literature is presented from the last over ten years, pertinent to the ever present problem--sudden death. The paper presents mainly the problems of epidemiology, and the possibilities and methods of preventing sudden death, as well as the organizational activities increasing the chances of resuscitation of patients with sudden cardiac arrest.
