    Clinical QuestionAre antioxidant supplements associated with higher or lower all-cause mortality?Bottom LineAntioxidant supplements are not associated with lower all-cause mortality. Beta carotene, vitamin E, and higher doses of vitamin A may be associated with higher all-cause mortality.
