    AbstractThe Intravenous Nurses Society (INS) believes that the intravenous trained licensed practical nurse and the licensed vocational nurse can aid in the delivery of some aspects of intravenous therapy under the supervision of the registered nurse; however, the registered nurse shall be the primary practitioner in this specialty.
