AbstractIbrutinib is a new-targeted therapy that irreversibly and specifically inhibits the Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (BTK), a key component of the signaling pathways of B cells. The results are very encouraging as monotherapy in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, and Waldenström's macroglobulinemia.
