AbstractThe Brugada sign may appear as an indication of severe hyperkalemia. This phenomena has recently been called as the "Brugada phenocopy". Hyperthermia and hypothermia may lead to rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis is a syndrome characterized by muscle necrosis and the release of intracellular muscle constituents into the circulation. We present a case where rhabdomyolysis-related delayed hyperkalemia showed Brugada sign on the ECG mimicking ventricular tachycardia.Copyright © 2016 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
