    AbstractThis randomized controlled trial compared haloperidol along with conventional therapy to placebo along with conventional therapy for gastroparesis in the emergency department. The primary outcomes of pain and nausea scores at 1 hour were significantly improved in the haloperidol group, but not in the placebo group. In this summary, we discuss a quality assessment of the article and summarized the social media commentary from the blog post/podcast.© 2017 by the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine.
