AbstractDr. Doug Clement of Vancouver has devoted his career to sports medicine and the development of athletes. The former Olympic athlete keeps busy as codirector of the Sports Medicine Clinic and professor of medicine at the University of British Columbia, and as coach and mentor to several world-class runners.
