AbstractMR imaging with diffusion-weighted imaging has been essential in the evaluation of acute stroke but is also crucial for the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in patients with various nonischemic disorders, including infectious processes, trauma, toxic/metabolic disorders, and other abnormalities.
