AbstractSolitary fibrous tumor is an uncommon spindle cell neoplasm that is believed to be of mesenchymal origin. Rarely does it originate in the oral cavity, and only 1 case of this lesion in the floor of the mouth has been previously reported. We describe a new case of solitary fibrous tumor arising from the soft tissues of the floor of the mouth.
