AbstractAs a palliative care physician I am constantly receiving wisdom from my interactions with patients and their families. The situation discussed in this article provides an example of a unique experience, with early requests for euthanasia that transitioned to aggressive end of life care later. Reflecting on this journey has enriched my professional life.
