AbstractVarious methods using electrical nerve stimulation for neuromodulation can be proposed to patients with neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction. However, few studies have reported the results in this specific patient population. In this article, the authors describe the various hypotheses to explain the efficacy of neuromodulation, and the results of the two main neuromodulation techniques currently used in France: sacral neuromodulation and posterior tibial neuromodulation.
