AbstractA stress fracture of an 8-year-old boy diagnosed on magnetic resonance (MR) images is presented. Stress fractures of the cuboid are probably more common than previously reported. The diagnosis should be considered even when a history of trauma or chronic overload is absent. The MR appearance of the stress fracture was characteristic.
