AbstractThis article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/our-business/policies/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the authors due to errors in the data. The authors indicated that they expanded the original sample size from 12 to 50, to study blood circulation upon other types of burns. At the same time, they further verified the results reported in this paper. The decrease in blood volume of the experimental group was not significantly slowed compared to the control group as reported. Since that was the basis of this work, this flaw may shatter all resulting hemodynamic data measured by the PICCO method. The authors have been unable to determine the source of the error.Copyright © 2018. Published by Elsevier Inc.
