    AbstractThe maxilla may be involved by a wide range of pathologic conditions. Lesions originating in the maxilla may involve the adjacent orbit, oral cavity, or retroantral spaces. Recognition of this relationship plays an important role in diagnosis, prognosis, and presurgical planning.
