    AbstractGroup A streptococcal meningitis is less common than other forms of meningitis; however, the occurrence of this infection is associated with high mortality and morbidity. Early recognition and a prompt treatment are therefore essential. We review one case of an Asian women admitted with group A streptococcal meningitis as a complication of otitis media.
