    [Clinico-epidemiological assesments for establishing the relationship between alcohol consumption and gastritis. Observations in Dorohoi area, Botosani county].

    UnlabelledThere are some controverces regarding alcohol intake and gastritis.AimTo investigate the effect of chronic alcohol intake on development of gastritis and their interrelationship.Material And MethodsThe study was conducted of 1566 patients of urban and rural Dorohoi areal (alcohol consumers), during the 2002-2006.ResultsThe prevalence of chronic alcohol gastritis has statistic significant difference along the years. The alcohol intake was recorded in the age group 40-50 years, in urban patients. In most patients (59%) alcohol intake was daily, the quantity used more frecquently 150-200 mL.ConclusionChronic alcohol consumtion induce the apparition of gastritis, in correlation with the consumption, ritmicity and alcohol amount.
