AbstractCardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has been shown to increase survival after cardiac arrest, but is associated with the risk of acquired injuries to the patient. While traumatic chest wall injuries are most common, other injuries include upper airway, pulmonary and intra-abdominal injuries.
