AbstractA case is presented of spontaneous rupture in a pathological bladder. The authors point out the importance of retrograde cystographies to reveal intraperitoneal ruptures in te bladder and to check for the existence of associated lesions. A review is made of the etiology, clinical picture and treatment of spontaneous, intraperitoneal rupture of the bladder.
