    Hypoglossal nerve palsy in a case of spontaneous atlanto-occipital dislocation - a rare clinical flinding in a rare clinical entity. And its complete recovery following corrective surgery.

    AbstractSpontaneous atlantooccipital dislocation is a rare clinical entity. Patients may present with neck pain and restriction of movements. Rarely does a patient present with hypoglossal nerve palsy. We report 1 such case, whose 12th nerve palsy promptly recovered after corrective surgery.Copyright © 2020 Elsevier Inc.
