AbstractWe report a case of a 7-year-old boy who sustained a ruptured right mainstem bronchus in a motor vehicle accident. The clinical presentation, pathophysiology, and diagnosis of tracheobronchial injuries secondary to nonpenetrating thoracic trauma are discussed.
