Prevention and risk reduction strategies are paramount in the current absence of effective treatment or a vaccine. There is a global shortage of personal protective equipment.AimsThis short paper describes the rationale for and development of a cloth homemade mask and has a step by step video.ResultsThe template is reproducible around the world and is both washable and cheap.ConclusionThis article describes a simple way to make a cloth mask, suitable if medical masks are not available.
