In 2019, the EuroQol Group developed a 'beta' 5-level version of EQ-5D-Y (Y-5L) by increasing the number of descriptive levels to five for each health dimension, as compared to the standard 3-level EQ-5D-Y (Y-3L). ⋯ Both the Y-3L and Y-5L descriptive systems showed acceptable patient-caregiver agreement and test-retest reliability when used to assess the HRQoL of children and adolescents with haematological malignancies, including in younger patients.

The present study aimed to provide normative data for the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire in Bulgaria, based on a nationally representative sample. ⋯ Bulgarian population norms, which were developed for the descriptive part of the EQ-5D-5L and EQ VAS, can be used as reference values. The availability of such normative data should encourage the use of the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire in health-related quality-of-life studies in Bulgaria.

Health-related quality of life in elderly people with hypertension and the estimation of minimally important difference using EQ-5D-5L in Hong Kong SAR, China.
This study examined health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in elderly patients with hypertension in Hong Kong (HK) by using EQ-5D-5L and estimated the minimally important difference (MID) of the EQ-5D-5L index score for this population. ⋯ The HRQoL and MID estimate of EQ-5D for elderly individuals with hypertension was reported, which provide valuable information for assisting health-care professionals in making clinical decisions in hypertensive care.
