Multicenter Study[COV IMPACT: Stress exposure analysis among hospital staff in 2 hospitals in France during the COVID-19 pandemic].
The COVID-19 pandemic has swept through our hospitals which have had to adapt as a matter of urgency. We are aware that a health crisis of this magnitude is likely to generate mental disorders particularly affecting exposed healthcare workers. Being so brutal and global, this one-of the kind pandemic has been impacting the staff in their professional sphere but also within their private circle. ⋯ Change in organisation, lack of information and protective gear and equipment were major factors of insecurity at the start of the epidemic. Work on supportive measures is necessary. It should focus on the spread of information, particularly towards the youngest, as well as bringing more psychological support and a larger amount of medical equipment, beyond healthcare workers and the COVID sectors.

[Association of hypertension and antihypertensive agents and the severity of COVID-19 pneumonia. A monocentric French prospective study].
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) type 2 is the receptor of SARSCoV-2 for cell entry into lung cells. Because ACE-2 may be modulated by ACE inhibitors (ACEIs) and angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), there are concern that patients treated with ACEIs and ARBs are at higher risk for COVID-19 infection or severity. This study sought to analyse the association of severe forms of COVID-19 and mortality with hypertension and a previous treatment with ACEI and ARB. ⋯ This study suggests that previous treatment with ACEI and ARB is not associated with hospital mortality, 1- and 2-month mortality, and severity criteria in patients hospitalised for COVID-19. No protective effect of ACEIs and ARBs on severe pneumonia related to COVID-19 was demonstrated.

Case Reports[A perimyocarditis revealing eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis].
Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) or eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a systemic vasculitis characterized by necrotizing arteritis, eosinophilic infiltration and extravascular granuloma; that may involve several organs. Cardiac involvement is the first cause of death in this vasculitis. These include myocarditis, pericarditis, coronary heart disease, dysrhythmias, and rarely valvular involvement. We report the observation of CSS revealed by acute perimyocarditis.

Pulmonary hypertension on systemic sclerosis-lupus erythematosus overlap syndrome.
There are authentic observations of combination of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with systemic sclerosis (SS) and with polymyositis defined as overlap syndromes. The prevalence of pulmonary hypertension is unknown in SS-SLE overlap syndrome because of its rarity. The aim of our study was to precise clinical, paraclinical and evolutive features of pulmonary hypertension in patients with systemic sclerosis-systemic lupus erythematosus (SS-SLE) overlap syndrome. ⋯ According to the results of our study, SS-SLE overlap syndrome complicated with PAH seems to be associated more frequently with limited and distal cutaneous manifestations. Patients that have developed lupus nephropathy and/or had positive anti-Scl70 seem to be protected from appearance of PAH during the SS-SLE overlap syndrome.

Case Reports[Cardiac papillary fibroelastoma and stroke during pregnancy: Case report].
Stroke occurring during pregnancy is linked to high mortality. Stroke may be directly related to pregnancy (e.g. eclampsia, cerebral venous thrombosis), but all the other causes of stroke are possible. Brain magnetic resonance imaging that is not contraindicated during pregnancy remains the reference in this context. ⋯ In the postpartum, despite the theoretical operative indication to resect the small residual papillary fibroelastoma, the patient was followed expectantly because of the stable neuro-cardiologic state. A fibroelastoma can be revealed by a stroke during pregnancy. In the postpartum period, an expectant attitude can be reasonably chosen in case of small size of the fibroelastoma.
