Meta AnalysisEmricasan for the treatment of liver cirrhosis: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The efficacy of emricasan for liver cirrhosis remains controversial. We conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the influence of emricasan versus placebo on the treatment of liver cirrhosis. ⋯ Emricasan treatment provided no benefit for the treatment of liver cirrhosis.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffect of Pro-kin visual feedback balance training on balance function of individuals with early Parkinson's disease: a randomized controlled pilot trial.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease. Patients often present with balance dysfunction. Several studies have applied visual feedback training to stroke patients and demonstrated significant improvement. However, the application of visual feedback balance training in PD patients has not been reported. ⋯ The conventional rehabilitation therapy can improve the balance function of PD patients, but the combination of visual feedback balance training and conventional rehabilitation therapy can improve the balance function more significantly.

To investigate the effects of resistance exercise (RE) in elderly cancer patients (ECPs). ⋯ RE effectively relieved the cancer-related fatigue (CRF) in ECPs, improved their mental state, quality of life and mobility.

Meta AnalysisAssociation between interleukin-12 +1188A/C polymorphism and the risk of tuberculosis: A meta-analysis.
The role of interleukin-12(IL-12) gene +1188A/C polymorphism has been indicated in the progression of tuberculosis (TB). Nevertheless, the outcomes remain controversial. ⋯ The present findings indicated that IL-12 +1188A/C polymorphism was not related to the risk of TB.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common chronic progressive disease. We aimed to evaluate the effects of ozone combined with articular injection of sodium hyaluronate on KOA patients and their inflammatory factors and hemorheological indices. ⋯ Ozone combined with articular injection of sodium hyaluronate has obvious therapeutic effects on KOA.
