A mini-invasive procedure for treating arthrofibrosis of the knee.
The aim of this study was to introduce the results of a novel mini-invasive operative technique comprising mini-incision release, "pie-crusting" lengthening of the quadriceps extensor, and arthroscopic lysis in severe arthrofibrotic knees. ⋯ Mini-invasive quadricepsplasty-associated arthroscopic lysis and manipulation of the knee in flexion is simple and easy and should be considered as a legitimate treatment for arthrofibrosis of the knee.

Comparative StudyAugmentative locking plate with autologous bone grafting for distal femoral nonunion subsequent to failed retrograde intramedullary nailing.
To explore the indications and efficacy of augmentative locking compression plate (LCP) or less invasive stabilization system (LISS)with autogenous bone grafting (BG) in treating distal femoral nonunion subsequent to failed retrograde intramedullary nailing (RIN). ⋯ We suggest augmentative LCP, for distal femoral nonunios after RIN, may be optimal for that of typeAO33A fractures, whereas augmentative LISS for that of typeAO33C fractures more.

Oxford Knee Score: cross-cultural adaptation and validation of the Turkish version in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.
The Oxford Knee Score (OKS) is a valid, short, self-administered, and site- specific outcome measure specifically developed for patients with knee arthroplasty. This study aimed to cross-culturally adapt and validate the OKS to be used in Turkish-speaking patients with osteoarthritis of the knee. ⋯ The OKS-TR is a reliable and valid measure for the self-assessment of pain and function in Turkish-speaking patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.

Comparative StudyComparison between locked intramedullary nailing and anatomical locking plating in the treatment of displaced clavicular midshaft fractures.
The aim of this study was to compare the results of expandable flexible locked intramedullary nailing and anatomical locking plating in clavicular midshaft fractures. ⋯ Expandable flexible locked intramedullary nailing can provide more successful outcomes than plating in displaced clavicular midshaft fractures, due to advantages such as shorter union time, lower complication rate, and better cosmetic outcomes.
