Orthostatic changes in blood pressure and survival in elderly cardiopaths.
The objective of this study was to analyze the association between orthostatic changes in blood pressure and mortality in elderly cardiopath patients. ⋯ There was a low frequency of orthostatic hypotension and a mild high frequency of orthostatic hypertension when compared with previous studies, and no association was observed with overall mortality or with the survival time of elderly patients with heart disease.

Comparison of perioperative indicators, treatment efficacy, and postoperative complications between tonsillotomy and tonsillectomy for children with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.
This study aimed to compare the perioperative indicators, treatment efficacy, and postoperative complications between tonsillotomy and tonsillectomy for children with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome. ⋯ Compared with tonsillectomy treatment for children with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome, tonsillotomy treatment is more beneficial to optimize the perioperative indicators, relieve the postoperative pain, facilitate the postoperative recovery, and reduce the postoperative complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Meta AnalysisUse of cannabidiol in the treatment of epilepsy: Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, Dravet syndrome, and tuberous sclerosis complex.
The objective of this systematic review with meta-analysis was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and short- and long-term tolerability of cannabidiol (CBD), as an adjunct treatment, in children and adults with Dravet syndrome (SD), Lennox-Gataut syndrome (LGS), or tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), with inadequate control of seizures. ⋯ This systematic review, with meta-analysis, supports the use of CBD in the treatment of patients with seizures, originated in DS, LGS, and TSC, who are resistant to the common medications, presenting satisfactory benefits in reducing seizures and tolerable toxicity.

Clinical analysis on the influencing factors related to preterm twin pregnancy.
The aim of this study was to explore the influencing factors of preterm twin pregnancy. ⋯ Preterm birth in twin pregnancy is associated with many risk factors, such as education, preeclampsia, and premature rupture of membranes. Pregnancy supervision and prenatal guidance for twin pregnancy should be strengthened. Furthermore, early detection and diagnosis of comorbidities can improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.

COVID-19: the unmet need for family planning and its effects on sexuality: a cross-sectional study.
This study was conducted to examine the effect of women's unmet family planning needs on their sexual functions during the COVID-19 pandemic period. ⋯ It was observed that women of childbearing age living in Turkey had limited access to family planning services during the pandemic, those who used modern methods before the pandemic had to prefer the traditional method, and the sexual functions of women who had fear of becoming pregnant were adversely affected.
