Observational StudyIs the length of time between endometrial scratching and embryo transfer important for pregnancy success? An observational study.
This study sought to evaluate the influence of time (early <90 days and late >90 days) and endometrial injury on pregnancy success. ⋯ The early transfer of embryos (<90 days) may produce better results with a high rate of pregnancy. Further studies are necessary to identify the mechanism involved in this phenomenon.

Association between antibiotic prophylaxis and adverse perinatal outcomes in premature rupture of membranes.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between antibiotic prophylaxis and adverse perinatal outcomes in premature rupture of membranes. ⋯ No association was found between antibiotic prophylaxis and the presence of adverse perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes between 24 and 33+6 weeks of gestation.

Predictors of mortality in patients with geriatric trauma in the emergency service.
In our study, it was aimed to compare the power of trauma scores (Glasgow Coma Score, Revised Trauma Score, Abbreviated Injury Scale, Injury Severity Score, and Trauma Score-Injury Severity Score) in order to predict mortality in patients with geriatric trauma and to determine the predictive values of these scores in mortality. ⋯ Glasgow Coma Score, Revised Trauma Score, Trauma Score-Injury Severity Score, Abbreviated Injury Scale, and Injury Severity Score scores and blood lactate levels are important parameters that can be used in the emergency department for the early detection of high-risk patients in geriatric trauma and the evaluation of the prognosis of geriatric trauma patients.

Effects of low-level laser therapy on acupuncture points on knee pain and function in knee osteoarthritis.
Knee osteoarthritis is a common and disabling disease. We aimed to examine the effect of low-level laser therapy in addition to routine physical therapy modalities (transcutaneous electrical stimulation, superficial heating modality of infrared, ultrasound, and exercise) on the functional status and pain in knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ Knee osteoarthritis increases with aging and creates significant functional limitations. low-level laser therapy with routine physiotherapy contributed to the improvement in the pain and functional status of the patients with knee osteoarthritis. Low-level laser therapy can be recommended in osteoarthritis treatment guidelines with the support of further studies, which is an easy-to-apply, effective, and reliable method.

Effects of enhancer of zeste homolog 2 and mucin 1 expressions on treatment response in breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. In the treatment of these patients, pathological complete response is defined as the absence of invasive cancer in breast or lymph node tissue after the completion of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationship of enhancer of zeste homolog 2 and mucin 1 expressions with pathological complete response in patients with breast cancer receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy. ⋯ In our study investigating the relationship between enhancer of zeste homolog 2 and mucin 1 expression and pathological complete response in patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy, we found that enhancer of zeste homolog 2 expression could be used as a predictive marker for pathological complete response. However, mucin 1 expression was not associated with pathological complete response.
