The prognostic importance of PD-L1, PTEN, PHH3, and KI-67 expressions in invasive breast carcinoma.
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of PD-L1, PTEN, PHH3, and Ki-67 immunohistochemical stain expressions with prognostic clinicopathological parameters in breast cancer. ⋯ PD-L1, PTEN, PHH3, and Ki-67 are regarded as potential biomarkers that can be used to predict the prognosis of breast cancer and to develop targeted therapies.

Relationship between ventricular repolarization parameters and the inducibility of ventricular arrhythmias during electrophysiological study in patients with coronary artery disease.
Risk stratification of sudden cardiac death in patients with coronary artery disease is of great importance. We evaluated the association between ventricular repolarization and induction of malignant ventricular arrhythmias on electrophysiological study of patients with coronary artery disease. ⋯ QT interval is an independent factor associated with malignant ventricular arrhythmias in patients with coronary artery disease. The combination of ventricular dysfunction and prolonged QT interval is associated with a 5.44-fold increase of malignant ventricular arrhythmias induction. Male gender, amiodarone use, and decreased left ventricular ejection fraction are also associated with increased risk of inducibility of malignant ventricular arrhythmias on the electrophysiological study.

Aesthetic assessment of breast reconstruction in the eyes of plastic surgeons versus nonplastic physicians.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the perception of the aesthetic result of breast reconstruction surgery from the perspective of plastic surgeons compared with physicians who are not specialists in plastic surgery. ⋯ Plastic surgeons assessed the aesthetic results of breast reconstruction more positively than nonplastic physicians.

Teleconsultations in neurology in a universal health system amid COVID-19: a descriptive study.
This study aimed to characterize teleconsultations in neurology executed by Regula+Brasil project in Recife, a capital city in northeastern Brazil. ⋯ The implementation and development of telemedicine by Regula+Brasil during the COVID-19 pandemic represented an opportunity to assess the value of having teleconsultations added along the line of care from primary care to a medical specialty, promoting the coordination of care across different levels of complexity of care in the health system and improving access to specialized care.

Seroepidemiologic survey of the household contacts of leprosy patients.
Leprosy is a disabling infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of leprosy among household contacts of leprosy patients. ⋯ The use of Mycobacterium leprae-flow should be encouraged during the follow-up of at-risk populations, such as the household contacts of leprosy patients.
