ReviewPeripheral T-cell Lymphomas: Updates in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation.
Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) confer dismal prognosis and no consensus has been established on the role of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) due to its rarity and heterogeneity. The purpose was to review key points of allo-HSCT for PTCLs, including indication, times of transplantation, conditioning regimen, graft versus host disease prophylaxis, and treatment of relapse. ⋯ Allo-HSCT is a useful choice for patients with refractory/relapsed PTCLs or high-risk new diagnosed PTCLs.

ReviewImmune Tolerance Therapy: A New Method for Treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury.
Due to the special anatomical structure and pathophysiological mechanism of the central nervous system (CNS), there is a big difference between the repair of brain injury and other systems of the body. More and more evidence shows that targetedly reducing the autoimmune response of brain tissue without affecting the immune function in other parts of the body will be the best optimized treatment for brain injury. ⋯ The establishment of immune tolerance mechanism has a high clinical value in the treatment of TBI. It opens up new opportunities for the treatment of brain damage.

ReviewPotential Role of Interleukin-25/Interleukin-33/Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin-Fibrocyte Axis in the Pathogenesis of Allergic Airway Diseases.
Allergic airway diseases (AADs) are a group of heterogeneous disease mediated by T-helper type 2 (Th2) immune response and characterized with airway inflammation and remodeling, including allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, and chronic rhinosinusitis with allergic background. This review aimed to discuss the abnormal epithelial-mesenchymal crosstalk in the pathogenesis of AADs. ⋯ In view of the redundancy of cytokines and "united airway" theory, we propose a new concept that IL-25/IL-33/TSLP-fibrocyte axis may play a vital role in the abnormal epithelial-mesenchymal crosstalk in some endotypes of AADs. This novel idea will guide potential new intervention schema for the common treatment of AADs sharing common pathogenesis in the future.

ReviewResearch Progress in the Pathogenesis of Alzheimer's Disease.
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a kind of chronic degenerative disease of the central nervous system, characteristics of cognitive dysfunction, and behavioral disability. The pathological changes include the formation of senile plaques-containing beta-amyloid (Aβ), neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs), loss of neurons, and synapses. So far, the pathogenesis of AD is still unclear. This study was aimed to review the major pathogenesis of AD-related to the published AD studies in recent 20 years. ⋯ This review highlights the research advances in the pathogenesis of AD. Future research has needed to fully disclose the association between multiple pathogenesis at the same time to interdict multiple signaling pathways, etc.

ReviewUrinary Extracellular Vesicle: A Potential Source of Early Diagnostic and Therapeutic Biomarker in Diabetic Kidney Disease.
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) has become one of the major causes of end-stage renal disease. Urinary extracellular vesicles (uEVs) contain rich biological information which could be the ideal source for noninvasive biomarkers of DKD. This review discussed the potential early diagnostic and therapeutic values of proteins and microRNAs in uEVs in DKD. ⋯ Proteins and nucleic acids in uEVs represent promising biomarker for the diagnosis and treatment of DKD.
