[Impact of population mobility on the behavior of respiratory viruses during the COVID-19 pandemic].
During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Argentina population suffered from significant changes in population mobility due to non-pharmaceutical interventions. The aim of this study was to describe the impact of the mobility restrictions to the rates of positivity and diversity among different respiratory viruses. ⋯ Non-pharmaceutical interventions established to contain SARS-CoV-2 spread had a significant impact in the circulation patterns of other respiratory viruses.

Nutritional risk is a parameter used to diagnose the level of risk that the patient has of developing adverse effects that impact their nutritional status. There are studies that associate nutritional risk with clinical evolution. ⋯ Given the association of high nutritional risk with the severity of critical patients, it is suggested that nutritional risk be routinely diagnosed in the ICU and that the NUTRICm score be taken into account as a tool to assess clinical prognosis.

Trigeminal neuralgia is a highly invalidating pathology, whose natural course has been modified thanks to decompressive microvascular surgery. The intervention can be carried out either with a microscope or via an endoscopic technique. Our goal was to compare these two techniques for the treatment of this complex pathology. ⋯ Endoscopic microvascular decompression is an attractive option for the resolution of neurovascular conflict as it provides functional results similar to the microscope technique, without requiring an extensive craniectomy and associated to shorter in-hospital stay, which is beneficial for both the patient and the institution.

Hospital hypoglycemia (HH) is an important problem since it is linked to hospital death, prolonged stay and higher costs, both in people with and without diabetes, in the critical area and general ward, especially in cases of severe hypoglycemia. The objective of our work was to compare hospital mortality, transfer to the critical area and hospitalization periods in adults with HH according to its severity. ⋯ This information provides, in our country, evidence on the prognostic value of hypoglycemia, whose greater severity is associated with increased hospitalization in critical areas and higher hospital mortality.

Invasive aspergillosis (IA) is a serious disease with high mortality. There are several risk factors and in-hospital outbreaks related with construction have been described. ⋯ Diagnosis is based on recognition of predisposing factors, clinical signs, imaging, direct examination, culture, histopathology, and biomarkers such as galactomannan. The drug of choice is voriconazole, but alternative therapies must be taken into account given the increasing presence of resistant isolates.
