Multicenter StudyA criterion-based obstetric morbidity audit in southern Thailand.
To evaluate the incidences of severe pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, obstructed labor, and postpartum hemorrhage in the 5 southernmost provinces of Thailand, and the quality of care for these conditions, using a modified version of a criterion-based clinical audit. ⋯ Incomplete diagnosis documentation and evidence of substandard care were common, which warrants auditing for such problems and providing feedback to physicians.

Effectiveness and safety of loop electrosurgical excision procedure in a low-resource setting.
To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) to treat cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) in a low-resource setting. ⋯ LEEP was associated with minimal complications and acceptable cure rates in a low-resource setting, although women with larger lesions had lower cure rates.

Perception and use of complementary and alternative medicine among gynecologic oncology care providers.
To determine general attitudes and approaches to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) among physicians who care for gynecologic oncology patients. ⋯ Discrepancies exist among oncologists regarding attitude and use of CAM in their practice. Education of physicians regarding the safety and efficacy of CAM modalities may ultimately improve patient care.
