Comparative StudyComparative Study of Percutaneous Sacroiliac Screw with or without TiRobot Assistance for Treating Pelvic Posterior Ring Fractures.
To analyze the curative effect of TiRobot surgical robotic navigation and location system-assisted percutaneous sacroiliac screw fixation and percutaneous sacroiliac screw by traditional fluoroscopy, and to summarize the safety and benefits of TiRobot. ⋯ Sacroiliac screw implantation assisted by TiRobot to treat the posterior pelvic ring fractures has the characteristics of less trauma, shorter operation time, and less blood loss. TiRobot has the characteristics of high safety and accuracy and has great clinical application value.

Midterm Clinical Outcome of Combined Posterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction and Posterolateral Corner Surgery Using Second-Look Arthroscopic "Lateral Gutter Drive-Through" Test as an Adjunctive Evaluation.
The arthroscopic "lateral gutter drive-through" (LGDT) sign is reported to diagnose popliteus tendon (PT) injury with high sensitivity and specificity. However, no study has provided a postoperative evaluation of combined posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries using the LGDT test. ⋯ In the series of surgically treated patients with PCL and PLC injury: (i) patients had improved subjective and objective clinical outcome after combined PCL reconstruction and PLC surgery at a minimum of 24-months follow-up; and (ii) second arthroscopic LGDT sign testing had high sensitivity and specificity in detecting postoperative PLRI, and a positive LGDT sign was related with inferior subjective and objective results.

Guidance for the Treatment of Femoral Neck Fracture with Precise Minimally Invasive Internal Fixation Based on the Orthopaedic Surgery Robot Positioning System.
Femoral neck fractures are among the most common fractures in orthopaedics. There are many surgical methods for the treatment of femoral neck fracture. Percutaneous cannulated lag screw fixation for the treatment of femoral neck fractures is favored by orthopaedic doctors because of its characteristics of being minimally invasive, with less bleeding and firm fixation. ⋯ At the same time, too much radiation exposure to medical personnel and patients also causes great damage to the body. Robot-assisted orthopaedic surgery combines the mechanical "eye" (an infrared ray tracking device) and the mechanical "hand" (six degrees of freedom mechanical arm), and through the process of preoperative planning, intraoperative assistance in screw placement, and postoperative confirmation, provides a more minimally invasive and precise treatment method for this kind of surgery, and significantly reduces radiation exposure. This guide uses the TiRobot system as an example to describe the robot surgery in detail, aiming at standardizing the application of robots in orthopaedic surgery.

Establishment and Finite Element Analysis of a Three-dimensional Dynamic Model of Upper Cervical Spine Instability.
To establish a dynamic three-dimensional (3D) model of upper cervical spine instability and to analyze its biomechanical characteristics. ⋯ The 3D dynamic finite-element model of the upper cervical spine can be used to analyze and summarize the relationship between the change of ligament stress and the degree of instability in cervical instability. Frequent or prolonged flexion activities are more likely to lead to instability of the upper cervical spine.

Comparative StudyComparison of Less Invasive Stabilization System Plate and Retrograde Intramedullary Nail in the Fixation of Femoral Supracondylar Fractures in the Elderly: A Biomechanical Study.
To compare the biomechanical stabilities of less invasive stabilization system (LISS) plate and retrograde intramedullary nail (IMN) for the comminuted femoral supracondylar fracture fractures in the elderly. ⋯ For comminuted femoral supracondylar fractures in the elderly, the tested instruments can both maintain sufficient biomechanical stabilities, but retrograde IMN is superior to LISS plate in deformation of fracture site.
