Saw-related injuries can be found in all parts of the body. Especially hand saw-related injuries are frequently encountered in the literature. The aim of the study is to present our demographic data, treatment strategy and prevention of the saw-related injuries in the lower extremity. ⋯ Lower extremity saw-related injuries tend to be overwhelmingly male and most often seen distal to the extremity, especially on the medial side of the extremity. A significant number of patients did not return to the job after the injury.

Review Meta Analysis
Surgical outcome of chronic Lisfranc injury without secondary degenerative arthritis: A systematic literature review✰.
Chronic Lisfranc joint injuries (tarsometatarsal, TMT) can present as a variety of clinical symptoms and radiographic findings. If significant arthritis at the Lisfranc joint is present, salvage arthrodesis is an option. For patients who receive a delayed diagnosis and/or present with no signs of arthritic changes, selecting the most appropriate treatment can be challenging. This article provides a systematic review of current surgical treatment options and outcomes for patients with a chronic Lisfranc injury but no secondary degenerative changes. ⋯ Level IV; Systematic Review of Level IV Studies.

Multicenter Study
Complications following operative treatment of supination-adduction type II (AO/OTA 44A2.3) ankle fractures.
There are few published studies that investigate the surgical treatment of supination-adduction (SAD, AO/OTA 44A2.3) ankle fractures. The purpose of this study was to describe the complications and outcomes following operative fixation of SAD type 2 ankle fractures. ⋯ III, retrospective cohort study.

Pelvic fractures (PF) require high force mechanism and their severity have been linked with an increase in the incidence of associated injuries within the abdomen and chest. Our goal is to assess the impact of solid organ injury (SOI) on the outcome of patients with PF and to identify risk factors predictive of morbidity and mortality among these patients. ⋯ The presence of SOI did not affect the outcome of patients with pelvic fracture, although our results may be linked to the limited number of patients with high grade SOI. The degree of pelvic AIS is predictive of associated injuries within the abdomen and chest.
