Treatment of Ruptured and Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms with WEB 17 Versus WEB 21 Systems : Comparison of Indications and Early Angiographic Outcomes.
The concept of intrasaccular flow diversion using the Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device changed the traditional endovascular concept for wide-necked bifurcation aneurysms. The latest technical advancement resulted in the WEB 17 system, a softer device composed of fewer wires which enables treatment of smaller more distally located aneurysms by using smaller microcatheters as compared to the WEB 21 system. ⋯ The use of WEB 17 expands the treatment indications for intrasaccular flow-diversion towards smaller and more distally located aneurysms with a safety profile comparable with that of the WEB 21.

Reliability of Bony Landmarks to Predict Intradural Location of Paraclinoid Aneurysms.
When dealing with paraclinoid carotid aneurysms, the distinction between intradural and extradural location is a major component for decision-making as only intradural aneurysms carry a risk of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). The aim of this study was to test the accuracy and reliability of computed tomography (CT) bony landmarks for the distinction between intradural and extradural paraclinoid aneurysms. ⋯ The results of the study showed several disagreements when using the OS landmark. More importantly, several aneurysms were considered as extradural with at least one of these two CT bony landmarks, even though they were all associated with an SAH. More reliable and accurate landmarks are warranted.

Microstructural White Matter Alterations in Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer's Disease : Study Based on Neurite Orientation Dispersion and Density Imaging (NODDI).
To investigate microstructural alterations in white matter in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD) using neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) and to assess the potential diagnostic performance of NODDI-derived parameters. ⋯ The NDI is more sensitive to white matter microstructural changes than FA and NODDI could be superior to DTI in the diagnosis of AD.

Functional Connectivity Alterations in Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder : Correlation with Disease Duration and Cognitive Impairment.
The aim of this study was to investigate resting state functional connectivity alterations within the main brain networks in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and their associations with disease duration, disability and cognitive dysfunction progression. ⋯ The study demonstrated functional alterations in the rs-fMRI of NMOSD, which provide a novel insight into the large-scale selective functional reorganization and could be useful to reveal the characteristics of the physiological mechanism.
