Randomized Controlled TrialValidation of the Musculoskeletal Health Questionnaire (MSK-HQ) in primary care patients with musculoskeletal pain.
To evaluate the responsiveness, and concurrent validity of the Musculoskeletal Health Questionnaire (MSK-HQ) in UK primary care patients with common musculoskeletal (MSK) pain presentations. ⋯ In primary care patients with common MSK pain presentations, the MSK-HQ was as good as existing pain-site specific PROMs at identifying people reporting global improvements in their MSK condition, and was better than the EQ-5D-5L.

COVID-19 in systemic lupus erythematosus: Data from a survey on 417 patients.
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic disease characterised by autoimmunity and increased susceptibility to infections. COVID-19 is a systemic viral disease currently spreading as a pandemic. Little is known about the impact of COVID-19 in patients with SLE. ⋯ COVID-19 morbidity might only moderately be increased in most patients with SLE, although limited information can be inferred on more severe cases. Hydroxychloroquine apparently seems not to confer protection to infection per se, although other beneficial roles cannot be excluded. Containment policies and behavioural preventive measures could have a major role in limiting the impact of COVID-19 in patients with SLE.

Geographical variations in COVID-19 perceptions and patient management: a national survey of rheumatologists.
To investigate the perceptions and behaviors of rheumatologists in the United States (US) regarding the risk of COVID-19 for their autoimmune patients and the subsequent management of immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory medications. ⋯ In this national sample of rheumatologists, there are variations regarding perceptions of patients' risk of COVID-19, and how to manage medications such as NSAIDs, biologics and steroids during the pandemic. These variations are more pronounced in geographical areas where COVID-19 disease burden was high.

Review Meta AnalysisThe experience of a gout flare: a meta-synthesis of qualitative studies.
Gout flares are an important concern for people with gout and an understanding of patients' experiences with gout flares is central in developing meaningful outcome measures for clinical trials. This study aimed to systematically review and thematically synthesize the qualitative literature reporting the patient experience of gout flares, to inform the development of flare-specific outcome measures. ⋯ Gout flares impact many aspects of patients' lives, including physical and psychological and social and family life. The patient experience of gout flares goes beyond what is routinely measured in research settings. Measurement and reporting methods that capture these aspects of patients' experiences with gout flares would provide more meaningful outcome measures in clinical trials of flare prevention.
