Tolerability and safety of frovatriptan with short- and long-term use for treatment of migraine and in comparison with sumatriptan.
To evaluate the tolerability and safety of frovatriptan 2.5 mg in patients with migraine. ⋯ Short- and long-term use of frovatriptan 2.5 mg was well tolerated by a wide variety of patients. Frovatriptan treatment produced an adverse events profile similar to that of placebo, and in a direct comparison study was better tolerated than sumatriptan 100 mg.

Mouth-dispersible aspirin in the treatment of migraine: a placebo-controlled study.
To compare the efficacy of mouth-dispersible aspirin 900 mg and placebo in the treatment of migraine. ⋯ Mouth-dispersible aspirin 900 mg is effective compared with placebo for the treatment of moderate migraine head pain, with relief seen from as early as 30 minutes after taking medication.

To determine the prevalences of migraine and tension-type headache in teenaged girls attending schools in Shiraz (southern Iran). ⋯ It is concluded that exposition of subjects to sunlight, type of food, and a family history of headache had most significant effects on occurrence of migraine and tension-type headaches.
