Comparative Study
Migraine without aura and migraine with aura are distinct disorders. A population-based twin survey.
To investigate the co-occurrence of migraine without aura (MWOA) and migraine with aura (MWA) in a population-based twin survey. ⋯ The results strongly suggest that MWOA and MWA are distinct disorders, and identification of common genes for MWOA and MWA, thus, should not be expected to result from future genetic research.

Case Reports
Disappearance of migraine attacks during long-lasting postdural puncture headache: a case report.
We report a patient with a history of frequent migraine attacks who developed postdural puncture headache that persisted for 3 months. His migraine attacks ceased during the period of his postdural puncture headache, but resumed 3 days after disappearance of that headache. This case suggests an interrelationship between the mechanisms of postdural puncture headache and migraine.

Comparative Study Clinical Trial Controlled Clinical Trial
Tolerability and safety of frovatriptan with short- and long-term use for treatment of migraine and in comparison with sumatriptan.
To evaluate the tolerability and safety of frovatriptan 2.5 mg in patients with migraine. ⋯ Short- and long-term use of frovatriptan 2.5 mg was well tolerated by a wide variety of patients. Frovatriptan treatment produced an adverse events profile similar to that of placebo, and in a direct comparison study was better tolerated than sumatriptan 100 mg.
