Comparative StudyDetection of Acute and Long-Term Effects of Concussion: Dual-Task Gait Balance Control Versus Computerized Neurocognitive Test.
To examine the acute (within 72h of injury) and long-term (2mo postinjury) independent associations between objective dual-task gait balance and neurocognitive measurements among adolescents and young adults with a concussion and matched controls. ⋯ Dual-task assessments concurrently evaluating gait and cognitive performance may allow for the detection of persistent deficits beyond those detected by computerized neurocognitive deficits alone.

Randomized Controlled TrialModerators of Treatment Outcomes After Telehealth Self-Management and Education in Adults With Multiple Sclerosis: A Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trial.
To examine moderators of treatment effects in a randomized controlled trial comparing a telehealth self-management intervention with a telehealth multiple sclerosis (MS) education intervention for fatigue, pain, and mood in adults with MS. ⋯ At the group level, participants responded to both interventions, regardless of disease characteristics, demographics, symptom levels, and cognitive behavioral factors. Self-management and education are both potentially beneficial symptom treatments that may be recommended to individuals with MS and chronic pain, fatigue, and/or depressive symptoms.
