Randomized Controlled Trial Clinical Trial[Nebulized budesonide to treat acute asthma in children].
To investigate the efficacy of a single dose of inhaled budesonide as compared to oral prednisone in patients with acute asthma. ⋯ A combination of single-dose nebulized budesonide and salbutamol may be as effective as oral prednisone to improve symptom severity, but the latter increases hemoglobin saturation in exacerbation of asthma.

To describe eight patients with reflex sympathetic dystrophy in terms of clinical and laboratory characteristics and treatment. ⋯ Reflex sympathetic dystrophy should be included as part of the differential diagnosis of limb pains of childhood, so that physicians can make an earlier diagnosis and prevent functional impairment.
