Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has been used in a wide variety of diseases. In this article, we reported a 46-year-old female with diabetic neuropathy (DN) achieved remission by the treatment of FMT. ⋯ We proposed that FMT could be a promising treatment in patients with diabetes or diabetes-related complications like DN. FMT also appeared to be definitely safer and more tolerable than the pharmacologic treatment in patients with DN.

Pacemaker implantation for treating migraine-like headache secondary to cardiac arrhythmia: A case report.
Co-occurrence of headache and arrhythmia is not rare. However, their causal relationship remains unclear. Here, we described a case of migraine-like headache relieving with pacemaker implantation. Our case study indicates that arrhythmia is causal for migraine-like headache, which, to our knowledge, has never been reported. ⋯ To the best of the authors' knowledge, we are the first to report migraine-like headache as a secondary symptom of arrhythmia. Arrhythmia may aggravate insufficient blood supply to the brain due to CA lesion and induce a migraine-like headache. This case study indicated that pacemaker implantation could be a fundamental treatment for migraine-like headaches caused by cardiac arrhythmia.

Chordoma is a relatively rare tumor that accounts for 1% to 4% of all malignant bone tumors, with an annual incidence of <0.1 per 100,000 people. Although chordoma is aligned with the axis of the spine and most commonly develops in the sacrum, to the best of our knowledge, giant sacrococcygeal chordoma is extremely rare. ⋯ The development of chordoma is not associated with clear symptoms, although early diagnosis and treatment are needed to prevent invasion of the nearby tissues and organs. Therefore, we believe that surgical treatment of sacral chordoma is effective, although care must be taken to completely remove all residual tumor tissue and reduce the risk of recurrence. Besides, This report adds to our limited understanding of the rare giant sacrococcygeal chordoma.

The purpose of this study is to confirm and complement previous data regarding an association between gastroesophageal reflux disease and appendectomy. The Korean National Health Insurance Service-National Sample Cohort includes data from people ≥ 20 years old collected from 2002 to 2013. A total of 13,484 participants who received an appendectomy were matched with 53,936 controls at a 1:4 ratio. ⋯ Subgroup analyses stratified according to age and sex revealed consistent findings. The adjusted OR for GERD in participants prescribed PPIs for ≥ 30 days was 1.31 (95% CI = 1.20-1.43), and the adjusted OR for GERD in participants prescribed PPIs for ≥ 60 days was 1.30 (95% CI = 1.15-1.48). The Odds for GERD were higher in the appendectomy group than in the control group.
