Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an intermediate stage between the cognitive changes of normal aging and early dementia. Tai Chi (TC) may be particularly beneficial to patients with MCI due to its whole-body coordination characteristics. This systematic review protocol aims to outline the methods that will be used to assess the comparative effectiveness and safety of TC for MCI through a systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ The findings of our study will provide updated evidence to determine whether TC is an effective intervention to patients with MCI.

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD) are neurodegenerative diseases associated with aging. The major clinical features of both are progressive memory loss and progressive cognitive loss. The objective of this systematic review protocol is to provide the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of acupuncture in the treatment on cognitive deficits in transgenic mouse. ⋯ Ethical approval is not necessary since this protocol is only for systematic review and does not involve privacy data or conduct an animal experiment. This protocol will be disseminated by a peer-review journal or conference presentation.

Meta Analysis
Epileptiform EEG discharges and sevoflurane in children: Protocol of a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Epileptiform discharges in electroencephalogram (EEG) have been frequently reported in children undergoing sevoflurane mask induction. However, the incidence, characteristics and risk factors of these epileptiform patterns during sevoflurane anesthesia in children are poorly understood. The aim of this study is to systematically review the epileptic potential of sevoflurane in children with the EEG monitoring. ⋯ PROSPERO CRD 42019122008.

Traumatic AOD is rare but highly associated with upper cervical spine injuries. We found no references in the literature of traumatic posterior atlantooccipital dislocation (AOD) combined with type II dens fracture (Anderson-D'Alonzo classification) and C1 anterior arch fracture. ⋯ A thorough clinical evaluation and radiologic investigation (CT and MRI) on concomitant upper cervical injuries should be evaluated in traumatic AOD patients.

Observational Study
Patient delay and associated factors among Chinese women with breast cancer: A cross-sectional study.
To examine the current situation of patient delay and to identify factors associated with patient delay among women with breast cancer in China. A total of 283 women, aged 23 to 83 years old and with histologically confirmed breast cancer, were investigated in this cross-sectional study. The women were recruited from seven selected hospitals in Sichuan Province, China. ⋯ These factors explained 41.0% of the variance. Information on the current situation and predictors of patient delay in Chinese women with breast cancer might provide meaning insights into the early diagnosis of breast cancer. The results of this study may help health professionals develop specific clinical practice strategies to reduce patient delay of initial treatment as a way to improve outcomes for women with breast cancer.
