Intramuscular hemangiomas are rare benign vascular neoplasms, merely accounting for 0.8% of all hemangiomas. Moreover, there are few case reports of intramuscular hemangiomas in the upper extremities. ⋯ Optimal management of intramuscular hemangioma is critical, including precise evaluation, good microsurgical technique and early functional exercises, which may result in a satisfying outcome.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships between uterine size and volume and clinical pregnancy rate. This longitudinal study was conducted among patients undergoing assisted reproduction technology (ART) treatment at the Reproductive Medicine Center from January 2010 to May 2017, all of whom provided informed consent to participate in the study. The uterine size, for all patients, was measured by transvaginal ultrasonography before ovarian stimulation. ⋯ Compared with those with a uterine volume of 30 to 49 mL (referent), patients with a uterine volume ≥70 mL had a lower clinical pregnancy rate. The patients with an optimal uterine length, width, anteroposterior diameter, and volume had a higher clinical pregnancy rate than those with suboptimal uterine measurements. Uterine sizes and volumes that were too large reduced the clinical pregnancy rate.

After nearly 20 years of development, China has realized some achievements in helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS). The purpose of this article is to introduce and evaluate the development and characteristics of HEMS in China by collecting and analyzing relevant literature and, in so doing, help this vital service to further develop. ⋯ China's HEMS is a relatively new service. Its level of development is low, interregional development is uneven, and cooperation has been insufficient. We need to strengthen capital investment and develop a unified guideline to further enhance the development of HEMS in China.

Medial malleolar stress fracture resulting from repetitive stress caused by lateral ankle instability: A case report.
Stress fractures are most commonly sustained in the lower extremities owing to the repetitive weight-bearing forces. They are overuse injuries that are seen often in athletes, but rare in the general population, so early diagnosis and proper treatment are important to enable athletes to return to activity. This is a rare example of successful treatment of a medial malleolar stress fracture with lateral ankle instability. ⋯ Medial malleolar stress fractures are rare, so they can be overlooked. With these fractures, plain radiographs are frequently normal initially because the medial malleolus consists mainly of cancellous bone. Physicians require a high level of suspicion when taking the patient's history and doing the physical examination. Because most occur in athletes, early diagnosis and proper treatment are important for patients' subsequent athletic performance.

Non-small cell cancer with isolated unilateral renal metastasis is rare, and the role of radical nephrectomy has not been determined. In the present study, a case of a patient with solitary kidney metastasis from squamous cell lung cancer who underwent radical nephrectomy is reported. ⋯ Solitary renal metastasis is rare and squamous cell lung cancer might be the primary disease. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) is important in detecting solitary kidney metastasis during the follow up of patients with squamous cell lung cancer. Due to the rareness of isolated renal metastasis, the role of radical nephrectomy needs to be further investigated.
