An international consensus for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients at risk of developing interstitial lung disease (ILD) is still lacking. The aims of study were to evaluate: the prevalence of ILD involvement in RA over high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT); the relationships between pulmonary function tests (PFTs), patient-centered measurements, and ILD; and the potential risk factors contributing to RA-ILD patients. Data regarding the clinical characteristics (age, sex, age at onset of RA), laboratory findings (rheumatoid factor [RF] and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies [ACPA]), respiratory functional assessment (forced vital capacity [FVC] and carbon monoxide diffusion capacity [DLCO]), patient-centred measures of dyspnea (PCMD), Health Assessment Questionnaire-Disability Index (HAQ-DI), and HRCT have collected retrospectively. ⋯ Advanced age (P < .0001), age at RA onset (P = .025), ACPA titer (P = .004), and smoking (P = .008) were independent explanatory variables of HRCT damage in multivariate analysis. The RA-ILD is associated with age and older age of RA onset, smoking, and ACPA titer. DLCO seems to be the most sensitive parameter to predict ILD on HRCT, followed by PCMD.

Stroke is the principal cause of impairment in the motor function and gait of adults. One of the resources used in rehabilitation to optimize gait is a prescription of ankle-foot orthosis (AFO), and the most prescribed AFOs are Fixed AFO and Articulated AFO; however, it is not known which of these options is more effective for these individuals. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of different types of ankle-foot orthosis functional mobility and dynamic balance in stroke patients. ⋯ The results of this study will contribute to clinical practice by identifying the type of AFO orthosis that is more suitable for this condition, helping to standardize prescription of these orthoses by professionals, and guiding future research studies on this subject, which is still incompletely defined in the literature.

Patients suffering from chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) might have negative adherence of treatment. Acupoint therapies, including acupuncture, acupressure, acupoints injection, massage, and moxibustion, are safe medical procedures with minimal side effects for CINV, but studies about overall safety and effectiveness of acupoint therapies have not been scientifically and methodically evaluated in recent years. Evaluating the overall safety and effectiveness of acupoint therapies in patients with CINV is the purpose of this review. ⋯ CRD42019125538.

Pelvic tumor had great impact on patients' quality of life. After tumor resection, how to accurately fill bone defect remained challenging for orthopedic surgeons. Due to lack of individual design, high incidence of prosthetic mismatching, and loosening were reported in pelvic reconstruction surgery with conventional modular prostheses. Nowadays, with rapid development of three-dimensional (3D) print technology, pelvic prostheses could be designed according to patients' own anatomy. The objective of this study was to describe the application of 3D printed customized hemi-pelvic prosthesis for patients with pelvic tumor. ⋯ Satisfactory effect of pelvic reconstruction could be achieved by 3D printed hemi-pelvic prostheses. It also provided a promising way to the treatment of pelvic tumor in similar cases.
