Review Case Reports
Acquired hemophilia A in a woman with systemic lupus erythematosus: A case report and review of literature.
Acquired hemophilia A (AHA) is a rare autoimmune disease caused by autoantibodies directed against the activity of factor VIII (FVIII) and presents with prolonged bleeding. 5.7% of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients are affected by AHA. ⋯ AHA in a patient with SLE is rare. Once it occurs, it can be life-threatening. Clinicians should remain aware that because some cases of AHA may have features of SLE, appropriate distinction and diagnosis of these different but associated diseases is necessary.

As one of the most prominent public health and medical problems, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) has a serious impact on the quality of life of participants and may even be life-threatening. While modern medicine has worked well to alleviate the symptoms of COPD, the current situation with this chronic disease is not encouraging. Lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome is one of the common forms of COPD and the traditional Chinese medicine formula Modified Shenling Baizhu Powder is very frequently used in the treatment of this syndrome. However, no direct evidence is available to support the efficacy and safety of Modified Shenling Baizhu Powder for COPD treatment. ⋯ The results of this trial will provide comprehensive evidence of the efficacy of Modified Shenling Baizhu Powder for early-stage COPD and the potential mechanism by which Modified Shenling Baizhu Powder acts, which may provide reference for the treatment plan of COPD participants.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Implementation of a clinical nursing pathway for percutaneous coronary intervention: A randomized controlled trial protocol.
Acute myocardial infarction is a very common disease in the emergency room. Emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is the first choice to open infarct-related artery in time to regain the active blood flow of myocardial tissue. Clinical nursing pathway (CNP), namely clinical project, is an original nursing mode with good quality, outstanding efficiency, and low treatment spending, so it has attracted more and more attention. However, few studies have reported the implementation of a CNP in PCIs. The purpose of the protocol is to assess the impact of CNP on the clinical efficacy of transradial emergency PCI. ⋯ This original evidence-based nursing model can be used as the foundation for further research.

Traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. However, currently randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and meta-analysis only compare 1 or 2 types of traditional Chinese medicine therapies, and the comprehensive ranking of efficacy and safety of multiple traditional Chinese medicine therapies for the treatment of allergic rhinitis has not been completed. Therefore, the purpose of this network meta-analysis is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of different traditional Chinese medicine therapies for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. ⋯ No. INPLASY202080119.

There are many East Asian traditional medicine (EATM) therapies that are widely used and effective for idiopathic short stature (ISS) in children. However, the comparative effectiveness of these therapies remains unclear. We describe the methods that will be used to comparatively evaluate the efficacy and safety of EATM therapies for the treatment of pediatric ISS. ⋯ OSF (URL: https://osf.io/s4vp7), PROSPERO CRD42020187160.
