This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of magnetic resonance perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI) as a noninvasive method to assess post-treatment radiation effect and tumor progression in patients with glioma. ⋯ Perfusion magnetic resonance imaging displays moderate overall accuracy in identifying post-treatment radiation effect and tumor progression in patients with glioma. Based on the current evidence, DSC-PWI is a relatively reliable option for assessing tumor progression after glioma radiotherapy.

Study on the clinical mechanism of Tong-Xie-An-Chang Decoction in the treatment of diarrheal irritable bowel syndrome based on single-cell sequencing technology.
Diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) is a kind of functional gastrointestinal disorder with obscure pathogenesis, and exploration about differential gene expression and cell heterogeneity of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood in IBS-D patients still remains unknown. Clinicians tend to use symptomatic treatment, but the efficacy is unstable and symptoms are prone to relapse. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is used frequently in IBS-D with stable and lower adverse effects. Tong-Xie-An-Chang Decoction (TXACD) has been proven to be effective in the treatment of IBS-D. However, the underlying therapeutic mechanism remains unclear. This trial aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of TXACD in IBS-D and elucidate the gene-level mechanism of IBS-D and therapeutic targets of TXACD based on single-cell sequencing technology. ⋯ This trial will prove the efficacy and safety of TXACD with high-quality evidence and provide a comprehensive perspective on the molecular mechanism of IBS-D by single-cell sequencing profiling, which makes us pinpoint specific biomarkers of IBS-D and therapeutic targets of TXACD.

Bayesian network analysis of open, laparoscopic, and robot-assisted radical cystectomy for bladder cancer.
We have performed the direct and network meta-analysis to evaluate the safety and efficacy of robot-assisted (RARC) versus laparoscopic (LRC) versus open radical cystectomy (ORC) for bladder cancer (BCa). ⋯ The direct meta-analysis and network meta-analysis suggest that RARC is better than LRC or ORC according to comprehensive analysis. However, we need a large sample size and more high-quality studies to verify and improve in the further.

HLA-A∗24:02 associated with lamotrigine-induced cutaneous adverse drug reactions: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Several studies demonstrated a connection between human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-B∗1502 and lamotrigine (LTG)-induced cutaneous adverse drug reactions (cADRs). The correlation between the HLA-A∗24:02 and LTG-cADRs remains controversial. To examine the associations between HLA-A∗24:02 and LTG-cADRs, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis. ⋯ HLA-A∗24:02 may be a risk factor for LTG-cADRs.

Effectiveness of dose-escalated topiramate monotherapy and add-on therapy in neurosurgery-related epilepsy: A prospective study.
Lesional and symptomatic causes of epilepsy are the most common neurological disorders of the brain. Topiramate effectively controls newly diagnosed epilepsy and refractory focal seizures, but high-dose topiramate does not improve seizure control. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of dose-escalated topiramate as first-line monotherapy and add-on therapy in patients with neurosurgery-related epilepsy. ⋯ Dose-escalated topiramate monotherapy and add-on therapy demonstrate good efficacy and safety, with fewer adverse events in seizure control in neurosurgical patients.
