Musculoskeletal injuries (MSDs) have become a major public health problem worldwide. Current diagnosis techniques for MSDs are often associated with radiation exposure, expensive cost, or contraindication. Infrared thermography (IRT) is becoming a proposed tool to assist in diagnosing MSDs, but current evidence is inconclusive. Thus, herein we aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of IRT for MSDs. ⋯ CRD42020184867.

Rectovaginal fistula (RVF) is a pathologic channel between the anterior wall of the rectum and the posterior wall of the vagina, is rare, and the majority is of traumatic origin. The most common causes are obstetric trauma, local infection, rectal surgery or caused by chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Once the disease will seriously affect the patient's quality of life, and generally not self-healing, most require surgical intervention. At present, diverting stoma is mainly used in patients with severe RVF or complicated RVF or patients with Crohn disease. Due to the lack of large sample, linical studies, its clinical effectiveness is still controversial. The purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the efficacy of diverting stoma in the treatment of diverting stoma. ⋯ INPLASY2020090070.

Unicompartmental knee replacement and high tibial osteotomy for medial unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis: A comparative study protocol.
Many clinical studies have been published in the literature to compare the outcomes of unicompartmental knee replacement (UKR) and high tibial osteotomy (HTO), but reached different conclusions. Therefore, the relative merits and demerits of these 2 procedures remain under debate. The purpose of the present protocol was to design a retrospective comparative study to further investigate the clinical effectiveness of HTO compared to UKR in the medial unicompartmental osteoarthritis of knee patients. ⋯ The results of this study will provide clinical evidence on appropriate surgical treatment for patients with medial unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis.

Data supporting the use of Chinese herbal medicine compound (CHMC) on breast hyperplasia (BH) based on the data from previous studies. However, the results are still contradictory. Thus, this study aims to compare the results obtained for effect on case-controlled study (CCS) of CHMC on BH. ⋯ The results of this study may exert helpful evidence to determine whether CHMC is effective on BH.
