Asthma has become the most common chronic disease in children, which seriously affects children's health and growth. Yu-Ping-Feng powder (YPFP) is widely used for the treatment of asthma in children, but there are few meta-analyses to assess the add-on effects of YPFP in children with asthma. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a systematic review to evaluate the efficacy and safety of YPFP in the management of asthma in children. ⋯ CRD42018111223.

Fully covered self-expandable metal stent with an anti-migration system vs plastic stent for distal biliary obstruction caused by borderline resectable pancreatic cancer: A protocol for systematic review.
Biliary obstruction can impair the effectiveness of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy. This study was designed to compare biliary stenting with covered self-expandable metal stents (FCSEMS) and plastic stents (PS) in patients with biliary obstruction caused by borderline resectable pancreatic cancer (BRPC) who were undergoing neo-adjuvant chemotherapy during preoperative biliary drainage. ⋯ This study is intended to determine whether FCSEMS or PS is the better biliary stent for ERBD for management of patients with biliary obstruction of BRPC, a common clinical dilemma that has not yet been investigated in randomized trials.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common disease in the elderly, which seriously reduces the quality of life of patients and increases the social burden. proximal fibula osteotomy (PFO) and high tibial osteotomy (HTO) are effective methods to treat KOA. However, it is not entirely clear which method has the advantage. Therefore, we evaluated the efficacy and safety of HTO and PFO in the treatment of KOA. ⋯ This proposed systematic review will provide up-to-date evidence to assess the effect of HTO in the treatment for patients with KOA.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease that is increasing the number of cases worldwide. The treatments currently used have not worked as expected. Alternative and complementary medicines were inserted in health services, especially in primary care, as an attempt to minimize risks and help control diseases such as diabetes. Among the herbal medicines used stands out cinnamon, which can serve as an adjuvant in the control of diabetes. ⋯ This study will be the first to investigate cinnamon to reduce glycemic, lipid, and anthropometric levels in Brazil. In case of favorable results, this therapy may be used as an alternative or additional medicine in cases where only oral antidiabetic agents are used and can promote the use of the product to minimize future complications of patients with diabetes and people who do not have the disease.
