We report a case of central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) accompanied by choroidal folds in a patient positive for myeloperoxidase (MPO)-antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA). ⋯ Based on the FA, IA, and OCT findings, the present case was considered to have CRAO accompanied by choroidal circulatory disturbance due to ANCA-associated vasculitis, a rare disease that may be complicated by choroidal circulatory disturbances.

Novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) has become a worldwide epidemic, causing huge loss of life and property. Because of its unique pathological mechanism, diabetes affects the prognosis of patients with COVID-19 in many aspects. At present, there are many controversies about whether angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin receptor blockers (ACEI/ARB) should be used in the treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus and COVID-19 comorbidities. There is an urgent need to provide evidence for the use of ACEI/ARB through high-quality systematic evaluation and meta-analysis. ⋯ INPLASY 202060111.

We identified the hub genes and pathways dysregulated in acute myeloid leukemia and the potential molecular mechanisms involved. ⋯ We performed a comprehensive bioinformatics analysis of hub genes potentially involved in acute myeloid leukemia development. Further molecular biological experiments are required to confirm the roles played by these genes.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Hypertonic saline and mannitol in patients with traumatic brain injury: A systematic and meta-analysis.
To compare the effects of 3% hypertonic saline solution and 20% mannitol solution on intracranial hypertension. ⋯ Both 3% hypertonic saline and mannitol can effectively reduce intracranial pressure, but 3% hypertonic saline has a more sustained effect on intracranial pressure and can effectively increase cerebral perfusion pressure.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Comparison of magnetic resonance imaging and 18-fludeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography in the diagnostic accuracy of staging in patients with cholangiocarcinoma: A meta-analysis.
Accurate clinical staging of patients with cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) has a significant impact on treatment decisions. In this study, we aimed to compare the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and 18-fludeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) for staging of CCA. ⋯ The analysis suggested that both modalities provide reasonable diagnostic accuracy in T stage without significant differences between them. We recommend that both modalities be considered based on local availability and practice for the diagnosis of primary CCA tumors. In N stage, the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis (N) of CCA is still limited by MRI and F-FDG PET/CT, due to unsatisfactory diagnostic accuracy of both. Nevertheless, F-FDG PET/CT can be used to confirm lymph node metastasis while a negative result may not rule out metastasis. Furthermore, F-FDG PET/CT have a low sensitivity and a high specificity for detection of distant metastasis.
