Cancer-related stroke has been regarded as an emerging subtype of ischemic event. Acute treatment for this subtype may include the antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, or endovascular intervention. ⋯ Thrombolytic and anticoagulant medications in this patient suggested the thrombus formation with fibrin-rich content which may be attributable to both cancer and chemotherapy. Dabigatran, an oral anticoagulant, had a benefit for this subtype of ischemic stroke among patients with cancer.

Observational Study
Prediction of nodal staging in breast cancer patients with 1-2 sentinel nodes in the Z0011 era.
The aim of this study was to provide an innovative nomogram to predict the risk of >2 positive nodes in patients fulfilling the Z0011 criteria with 1-2 sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) only retrieved. From 2007 to 2017, at the Breast Unit of ICS Maugeri Hospital 271 patients with 1-2 macrometastatic SLNs, fulfilling the Z0011 criteria, underwent axillary dissection and were retrospectively reviewed. A mean of 1.5 SLNs per patient were identified and retrieved. ⋯ Independent predictors of axillary status were: positive SLNs/retrieved SLNs ratio (odds ratio [OR] 10.95, P = .001), extranodal extension (OR 5.51, P = .0002), and multifocal disease (OR 2.9, P = .003). A nomogram based on these variables was constructed (area under curve after bootstrap = 0.74). The proposed nomogram might select those patients fulfilling the Z0011 criteria, with 1-2 SLNs harvested, in whom a high axillary tumor burden is expected, aiding to guide adjuvant treatments.

Case Reports
Maturity-Onset diabetes of the young type 5 treated with the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist: A case report.
Maturity-onset diabetes of the young type 5 (MODY 5) is a form of monogenic diabetes that is often accompanied by pancreatic dysfunction. To date, no cases of MODY 5 treated with glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA) have been reported. We present the first case of MODY 5 treated with GLP-1RA. ⋯ GLP-1RA might be effective at regulating glucose metabolism by utilizing residual pancreatic endocrine function in patients with MODY 5. Imaging and genetic screening were helpful in the diagnosis of MODY 5.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) was a type of inflammatory bowel diseases, which was difficult to cure and even would malignant turn into colon cancer. The specific etiology and molecular mechanism of UC were unclear to date. The purpose of this study was to search for new targets for the diagnosis and treatment of UC. ⋯ The DEGs, hub genes and different lymphatic infiltration conditions can provide new targets for diagnosis and treatment of UC. However, these were just predictions through some theoretical methods, and more basic experiments will be needed to prove in the future.

Meta Analysis
Selective dorsal neurotomy in the treatment of premature ejaculation: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Premature ejaculation (PE) affects 8% to 30% of adult men worldwide. Recently, the incidence of PE is on the rise. A series of prior studies suggested that the incidence of PE is related to various biological factors as low testosterone, low serum vitamin D, diabetes, lower urinary tract symptoms, and other psychological factors. At present, the major treatments include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors antidepressants (dapoxetine, paroxetine), topical anesthetics, phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor, circumcision, and selective dorsal neurotomy (SDN). The previous study found that SDN is effective for PE. ⋯ INPLASY202070084.
